Your Team's Shared File Hub: Network-Attached Storage

NAS serves files to every user and application on your local network from a single place. By replacing scattered file servers and external drives, we make sharing, permissions and backup manageable from one point.

  • Centralized File Sharing

Windows, Linux and macOS clients access the same data over SMB and NFS; departmental folders come together in one well-organized structure.

  • Active Directory / LDAP Integration

Folder permissions are managed from your existing user directory, and who accesses which data is audited centrally.

  • Snapshots & Version History

With scheduled snapshots, files deleted by mistake or encrypted by ransomware are restored within minutes.

  • Quotas & Non-Disruptive Growth

User and department quotas keep capacity under control, and new disk shelves are added without stopping the system.

SAN SOLUTIONS

A Dedicated Storage Network for Mission-Critical Applications

A SAN builds a high-speed network between servers and storage arrays that carries storage traffic only. Servers see this capacity as their own local disk at the block level, giving latency-sensitive workloads such as databases, virtualization and ERP the most predictable performance.

Fibre Channel, iSCSI and NVMe-oF

The fabric technology is chosen to fit your performance targets and budget; with zoning and LUN masking, every server sees only its own capacity.

Multipath Connectivity

Every server connects to storage over at least two independent paths, so a cable, HBA or switch failure never stops the service.

Virtualization & Database Ready

Shared, highly available block storage for vSphere and Hyper-V clusters and databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.

BENEFITS OF SAN

What a SAN Brings to Your Business

Turning storage into a central resource independent of individual servers improves performance, continuity and manageability at the same time.

  • High, Predictable Performance

Because storage traffic is separated from the user network, you get low latency and consistent response times even at peak hours.

  • Continuous Availability

Redundant controllers, dual fabrics and multipath mean a single component failure never takes your applications down.

  • Centralized Capacity Management

Idle disk space scattered across servers is pooled in one place, and capacity can be assigned to any system that needs it within minutes.

  • Non-Disruptive Scaling

New disk shelves and controllers are added without stopping running systems, so growth stays planned and controlled.

  • Fast Backup & Disaster Recovery

Array-level snapshots and site-to-site replication shorten backup windows and bring recovery time down to minutes.

  • The Foundation of Virtualization

Live virtual machine migration (vMotion, Live Migration) and high-availability clusters run on shared block storage.

NAS OR SAN?

Let's Choose the Right Architecture for Your Needs Together

For many organizations, the right answer is a hybrid setup that uses both. These are the key differences we look at when deciding:

  • Access level

    NAS
    File level; shared folders
    SAN
Block level; appears as a local disk
  • Protocols

    NAS
    NFS, SMB / CIFS, S3
    SAN
    Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NVMe-oF
  • Network

    NAS
    Existing Ethernet network
    SAN
    Dedicated storage fabric
  • Typical workloads

    NAS
    File sharing, archiving, backup, media
    SAN
    Databases, ERP, virtualization, email
  • Performance profile

    NAS
    High bandwidth, multi-user access
    SAN
    Low latency, high IOPS
  • Setup & management

    NAS
    Simpler; quick to deploy
    SAN
    Requires expertise; maximum control

Hybrid approach: Critical databases and virtual servers on SAN, file shares and backups on NAS — both under a single management and protection policy.

HIGH-PERFORMANCE DATA STORAGE

Storage Engineering That Lowers Latency and Raises Throughput

Storage performance is about more than disk speed. When media, network, caching and data placement are designed together, your applications run without waiting.

We define performance with three metrics

IOPS
I/O operations per secondThe key metric for small, random read-write-heavy workloads such as databases and virtualization.
Latency
Response time (ms)The time it takes to complete a request; it directly shapes the speed users feel.
Throughput
Bandwidth (GB/s)The deciding factor for large, sequential data streams such as backup, video and analytics.
  • All-Flash & NVMe

Critical workloads run on SSD and NVMe media, with significantly lower latency than spinning disks.

  • Automated Tiering

Frequently accessed hot data stays on the fast tier, while rarely accessed cold data moves to the economical tier.

  • Intelligent Caching

Controller memory and SSD cache serve heavily read data without going to disk.

  • Multipath Load Balancing

I/O traffic is spread across all active paths, combining bandwidth so no single link becomes a bottleneck.

  • Quality of Service (QoS)

Critical applications get IOPS and bandwidth priority, so one system's load never slows another down.

  • Deduplication & Compression

Duplicate data is stored only once, fitting more data on the same physical capacity and improving cache efficiency.

Before deployment, we measure your current workload and set target IOPS, latency and throughput values together with you.

DELIVERY PROCESS

From Discovery to Production in Four Steps

We manage the risk in storage projects with planned, measurable steps.

  1. STEP 01

    Discovery & Measurement

Your server, application and data-growth profile is reviewed, and performance and capacity needs are measured.

  2. STEP 02

    Architecture Design

NAS, SAN or hybrid; RAID level, tiering, redundancy and the disaster recovery scenario are documented.

  3. STEP 03

    Deployment & Data Migration

Hardware is installed and the fabric configured; data is migrated in planned maintenance windows without disrupting operations.

  4. STEP 04

    Monitoring & Support

Capacity, performance and hardware health are monitored continuously, and growth needs are reported in advance.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Frequently Asked Questions

The most common questions about choosing a storage architecture, data migration and protection.

  • Should we choose NAS or SAN?

It depends on your workload. NAS is better suited to file sharing, archiving and backup, while SAN fits low-latency systems such as databases, ERP and virtualization. For many organizations we recommend a hybrid architecture that uses both, and we finalize the decision by measuring your workloads during the discovery meeting.

  • Can we migrate our existing data to the new storage system without downtime?

Yes. Migration is planned in pre-copy, incremental sync and final cutover stages. Users are affected only during the final cutover, which we perform in off-hours maintenance windows for critical systems.

  • How are we protected against ransomware on the storage side?

With immutable snapshots, replication to a separate site and least-privilege access, we always keep a clean copy of your data ready. In the event of an attack, systems can be restored from the last known clean point.

  • Should we choose Fibre Channel or iSCSI?

Fibre Channel delivers the lowest and most predictable latency but requires separate switch and HBA investment. iSCSI runs on your existing Ethernet infrastructure and, with high-speed networks, provides sufficient performance for many workloads at a lower cost. We make the choice together based on your performance targets and budget.

  • Do you provide support after deployment?

Yes. We offer support models covering capacity and performance monitoring, software and firmware updates, incident management and periodic health reports.
